Learn from the best

I am a very lucky maker because I teach at several venues, bringing my passion for fiber art to communities across Wisconsin. Join me at these wonderful locations to explore your creativity.

Teaching venues

Currently, you can find my classes at:

  • Lost Art and Textile Studio, owned by Nancy Wilson, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
  • Textile Art Center of Madison
  • AlpacaFest in Madison, Wisconsin

Each venue provides a unique and inspiring setting for learning and creating.

Prepare for your class

Sometimes, students will need to bring along a few things such as old bath towels for wet felting, or jewelry making tools like small wire cutters and needle-nose pliers. You'll always be notified in the class descriptions about specific requirements.

Please note: Larger scale wet felting can be a very physical and rather wet endeavor. If you have limited arm function, please contact me at [nan@thefeltedfig.com] to discuss whether a particular class is a good fit for you. Most often, accommodations can be made.
